Gregory S. Gordon – General Counsel/NFLPA Agent
Gregory S. Gordon was born December 2, 1969 in Livingston, New Jersey. Weaned on the “Bronx Zoo” Yankees and the “Miracle of the Meadowlands” New York Football Giants from the late 1970’s-80’s (his family had season tickets to the Giants throughout the 1980’s), his love of sports developed early. Greg graduated from Livingston High School in 1988, where he played third-base for the 1988 conference champion Livingston High School Lancers. Following high school, he attended and graduated from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor in 1992. At Michigan, Greg considers some of his fondest memories getting the chance to see live the “Fab-5” men’s basketball team cut-down the nets in Lexington, Kentucky, as freshman headed to their first of two Final Fours, the final two years of Bo Schembechler’s coaching tenure, and the legendary college career of Desmond Howard (among many others).
After college, Greg went back to New Jersey where he attended Rutgers Law School – Newark, graduating in 1995. He passed the New York and New Jersey Bar Exams that same year, and clerked for a Federal Judge from 1995-96. After working for Fidelity Investments on Wall Street for approximately two years, Greg moved to Aspen in 1999, and passed the Colorado Bar Exam in 2001. He practiced law for a firm in Aspen for 13-years before starting his own firm in 2014. In 2015, Greg was one of approximately 38% of test-takers to pass the NFLPA Contract Advisor examination that year, and is now a certified Contract Advisor and agent for the NFL Players Association.
